Chris Hemsworth’s voice appearance as Throg, the frog counterpart of Thor, is featured in a fresh deleted clip from Loki Season 1. The tiny clip, which was published on X after being included in the series’ most recent physical edition, shows an early depiction of Throg bemoaning Loki’s most recent ruse. He spins up Mjolnir and charges Loki while yelling in wrath, striking him with a flash of lightning as he does so. It is yet unknown why this amusing incident was cut from the programme. Although Throg does make a quick appearance in Loki Season 1’s final cut, Hemsworth’s voice is not audible as the small monster appears to be trying to dig himself out of a hole.

The Throg Vs. Loki sequence was extensively discussed by writer Eric Martin in advance of Loki’s Disney+ release in 2021, and he even briefly explained why it wasn’t included in the final edition of the series. The Frog of Thunder is in that jar, as comic book readers will notice, Martin writes. We actually recorded a sequence of Loki being beaten by Frog Thor for the Time Theatre in Episode 1, but we had to delete it to keep the action flowing. Tom was really amusing, so it’s a shame. Although it’s not yet clear if Throg will truly play a significant role in Loki Season 2, the God of Mischief already has his hands full with Kang the Conqueror, who is gradually tearing the multiverse apart. Jonathan Majors will portray a variation of Victor Timely, an eccentric scientist from the late 1800s who appears to have invented a way to travel across time, who will make an appearance as the next major antagonist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Given his current legal issues, several fans have questioned Majors’ involvement in Loki Season 2. Early in 2023, the actor was detained after being accused of assault, domestic abuse, and abuse. Insisting that none of these circumstances will have an influence on Kang’s part in Loki’s most recent journey, executive producer Kevin Wright. Victor Timely is a person about whom Wright expressed much excitement. “When you look at Kang, you’ll see that his comical past is quite humorous. There are several variations of him. One thing we’ve always wanted to achieve with Loki was timely. And I believe that we are quite enthusiastic about how that fits into the season. It plays a major role in the programme.
