The executive producer of Loki Season 2, Kevin Wright, has reassured fans that Jonathan Majors’ incarceration had no impact on his performance as Victor Timely in the eagerly awaited series, which will launch in just a few days. Wright claimed in an interview that the way the new episodes were recorded rendered Majors’ legal issues irrelevant. “This is the only Marvel series in which no supplementary photography has ever been used. We set out to make the tale that is currently being shown on the screen. We had a very clear vision for this before we started, and over the manufacturing phase, we were able to communicate it. It’s largely what’s seen on Disney+’s screens. Wright responded that it was never discussed whether to alter Loki Season 2 in response to the accusations made against Majors. “No,” he answered. And the major reason for that was that it seemed hurried to take action before knowing how everything would turn out, which I am sure you are aware of now. Victor Timely will be played by Majors in the upcoming episodes of the programme. The persona is an alter ego of Kang the Conqueror, an early 1900s industrialist innovator.

Majors was taken into custody on Mar. 25 after being accused of beating a woman after what the police described as a “domestic dispute.” He faces misdemeanour assault and harassment charges. The actor’s legal team has refuted the claims and provided further details about his defence in court documents. The actor is scheduled to return to court on October 25. His trial started on August 3. The Marvel star could spend up to a year in prison if found guilty. Beginning on October 5, Loki fans will receive nearly an hour’s worth of brand-new tales. The first four episodes of Season 2’s runtimes were just made public via X. According to reports, episodes 1, 2, 3, and 4 each run for 45, 49, 53, and 48 minutes, respectively. The last two episodes of the six-episode season’s runtimes are unknown. In Loki Season 2, Tom Hiddleston returns to the role of the titular God of Mischief. Along with Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, Eugene Cordero playing Casey/Hunter K-5E, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, he is accompanied by these actors. Ke Huy Quan joins the cast as the TVA agent Ouroboros, who tries to make things right.
