Fans of Loki will like Ke Huy Quan as the newest member of the Time Variance Authority. Ouroboros, also known as O.B., played by Quan, was characterised by Loki executive producer Kevin Wright as “our eyes and ears into a new section of the TVA,” adding, “We wanted to see more of this place that we built in season 1.”Wright also lauded the actor for his seamless chemistry with co-stars Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson as well as his contribution to O.B.’s personality development.After saying, “I could see it being quite intimidating coming in and trying to find your spot between Tom and Owen, who just formed this amazing bond and partnership,” he said, “Ke just effortlessly came in and added this new element that felt like it should have been there from the start.” Simply put, it was really natural and organic. In a clip that was shown in conjunction with Wright’s interview, Wilson’s Agent Mobius is seen bringing the God of Mischief to O.B., who confesses that it has been 400 years since he last met Mobius. Wright stated this month that OB’s TVA responsibilities are enormous even while his Loki past is still unknown, saying, “His job includes practically every piece of equipment, every computer, and everything that is working at the TVA. He either created it or maintains it and fixes it. Additionally, the persona regularly showed up in Loki’s trailers and promotional materials, which hinted to Loki being forcibly transported around space and time for unexplained reasons.
After taking a long absence from performing, Quan made a comeback in the movies in 2021 with Finding ‘Ohana and 2022 with Everything Everywhere All At Once, which earned the former Goonies actor both widespread praise and the Best Supporting Actor Oscar. Majors’ MCU future is still uncertain because of the actor’s continuing misdemeanour assault and harassment prosecution, but Wright insisted that his arrest had no effect on how season 2 was produced.
