As part of the Marvel’s Voices series on Marvel Unlimited, the Asgardian God of Mischief, Loki, embarks on a new journey. In Loki and the Treasure of Ultimate Desire, an exclusive story arc, Thor’s adopted brother uses his abilities as a trickster, criminal, thief, and King of Jotunheim to find new allies to help him on his quest for a priceless treasure, according to a post on Marvel’s website. Marvel’s Voices (written by Karla Pacheco, Roberta Ingranata, and Fer Sifuentes-Sujo) is where the tale starts. Over the course of 10 issues, starting with issue, Loki will take over the book’s covers and plot. Exclusive to Marvel Unlimited, each will be released. Marvel Unlimited publishes the “Loki and the Treasure of Ultimate Desire” story arc. Since scrolling is more comfortable than flicking across virtual pages, these vertical comics are designed to be viewed on a phone or other mobile device. The creators use the Marvel’s Voices comic book tie-in as a platform to retell the origin stories of different Marvel characters. The most recent of multiple tales that sprang from the project, Loki’s current story arc follows him on a fantastical, magical quest for an eternal treasure.
