Following a vehicle accident, three of the stuntman’s children from the 2018 film Black Panther sadly passed away. According to sources, Taraja Ramsess, whose credits include the blockbuster movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, was killed in an accident on Halloween night. The stuntman’s pickup truck carrying Ramsess and his five children was involved in an accident with a tractor-trailer that was exiting an Interstate in DeKalb County. Along with two of his kids, ages thirteen and eight weeks, Ramsess, forty-one, passed away at the scene. Furthermore, Ramsess’ mother Akili verified on Instagram that her son, who was ten years old, had died after being placed on life support. “Kisasi Adebayo joins his father Taraja and sisters Sundari and Fujibo on their journey,” Akili stated. “May God grant them all eternal bliss. I shall miss all of you.”

The only silver lining in the terrible tragedy was that Ramsess’s two surviving daughters made it out of the collision unharmed, albeit the youngest, who was only three, was slightly hurt. Following the news of his loss, several well-known figures in the business have paid respect to him. Director of A Wrinkle in Time, Ava DuVernay, sent her sympathies to Ramsess’ family. “No words matter,” DuVernay declared. “However, I hope that you are able to sense our prayers and our tears. They’re at your side. You have our undying love.” In 2006, Ramsess began working as a set designer for regional motion picture productions in Georgia. His credits include Fast Five, Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too?, and Rob Zombie’s Halloween II. Ramsess expanded his résumé by 2015 to include stunt work. After landing a job as a stunt performer for Black Panther, he was cast to appear on screen with Chadwick Boseman in the Avengers: Infinity War finale as a member of a Wakandian border tribe. Shaft, Bad Boys for Life, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Creed III are among the other films with stunt credentials.

Akili paid tribute to her son’s love of films and ability to find humour in everyday situations in a different Instagram post. “Anyone who met and knew him understands how unique Taraja was,” she remarked. He was incredibly loving and had the greatest love of all for his kids. He had a passion for motorbikes, martial arts, and everything film-related. He may be quite cheesy, but he also has a very dark sense of humour. That unique light was also reflected by Sundari, commonly known as Sunny. lovely and a dancer. Dear God! How come they’re no longer among us? We continue to pray for my grandchildren’s healing as we grieve. We are grateful to everyone who has already expressed kindness and asked for prayers.”
