Fans are hoping that Deadpool & Wolverine, the only movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe scheduled for 2024, will give Phase Five the much-needed boost. The movie is expected to be very good because, according to Marvel President Kevin Feige, it has “universe-sized” stakes for the MCU. In a conversation, Feige talked about the influence Deadpool & Wolverine will have on the MCU and what audiences can anticipate when the film opens this summer in theaters. The Marvel boss claims that Deadpool and Wolverine will upend the universe of the MCU when Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) becomes “intrigued” by the Sacred Timeline and discovers that interfering in the multiverse may not be as easy as he initially believed. Deadpool finds the Sacred Timeline to be really fascinating. Soon after, he finds out that the stakes are enormous and the offer is not as straightforward as he initially believed,” Feige stated.
Feige’s comments suggest that Deadpool & Wolverine will revolutionize the MCU, which fuels fans’ excitement since the superhero film is the most anticipated summer release. Deadpool & Wolverine, which Feige again confirmed was the first R-rated movie in MCU history, was shown off at last month’s CinemaCon. Feige called the picture “awesome,” despite the fact that it repeatedly pokes fun at him. Many celebrity cameos are anticipated in Deadpool & Wolverine, some of which will further the X-Men’s entry into the MCU. Director Shawn Levy is trying his best to keep the appearances a mystery, although they tease cameos include a return for Halle Berry as Storm, Taron Egerton as a Wolverine version, and, most significantly, Taylor Swift as Dazzler. Furthermore, rumors that Michael B. Jordan, the hero of the Black Panther film trilogy, would make an unexpected cameo in the film have been stoked by a recent post. In 2015, Jordan reprised his role as the Human Torch in the disastrous Fantastic Four revival at 20th Century Fox.
Since Deadpool & Wolverine is the first movie to be released under the MCU, it is regarded as a solo movie rather than a Deadpool threequel. It stars Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds as the “Merc With a Mouth”. Deadpool & Wolverine have planned more eye-catching promotional activities ahead of the film’s release to generate buzz. These include an anti-cellphone PSA based on Avengers: Secret Wars and an NSFW popcorn bucket that could even be comparable to the notorious sandworm bucket from Dune: Part Two. In late April, Marvel unveiled the most recent teaser for Deadpool and Wolverine, which broke previous MCU records. The author of the Deadpool comic book, Rob Liefeld, has also verified an insider tip that states there is a “mind-blowing” post-credits scene in the movie that will startle viewers.
