In the most recent Agatha All Along episode, there was a significant WandaVision clue that elevated the significance of an earlier hint, which most of us likely overlooked. With Aubrey Plaza and Patti LuPone among the stellar new cast members of Agatha All Along, Joe Locke in the cryptic part of “Teen” could be the most noteworthy addition. Even before Agatha All Along debuted, speculation about who Locke’s character may be ran rampant, and now that further background is available, the rumors have only been more intense. In the third episode, it was revealed that Teen had a symbol placed on him to prevent witches from discovering who he really was. This was followed by a major spoiler that deepened a line from the previous episode.
Locke is thought to be Wanda’s son Billy, according to popular fan theory, and Agatha All Along’s third episode contains the clearest Wiccan setup to far. Alice says that 13 was a difficult age for her, to which Teen responds, “A lot happened to me at 13 too,” as they become closer. Teen’s current age of sixteen was verified in the previous episode. The fact that Agatha All Along occurs three years after its predecessor was also established, meaning Teen would have been 13 years old in the WandaVision finale. If there was a reality where Wanda’s boys were looking for her, it would make sense as she devoted the entirety of Multiverse of Madness to looking for them. Billy’s desire to travel the Witches’ Road makes sense since he could hope it would bring his mother back to life. The several allusions to Wanda in Agatha All Along so far indicate that a Scarlet Witch tie is imminent, and Billy’s involvement seems far more plausible than a full-scale Scarlet Witch comeback. Interestingly, a phrase from Agatha All Along episode 2 suddenly feels considerably more weighted because Teen alluded to his horrific history. There seems to be a growing trend of Jac Scaeffer’s team leaving clues, each of which seems to be more significant than the last.
In the second episode of Agatha All Along, Jennifer Kale (Sasheer Zamata), who is recruiting new coven members for Kathryn Hahn’s upstart witch, alludes to Agatha’s troubled past. Her direct question to Agatha about Teen being “another child sacrifice” sparks rumors that Agatha killed her own son in order to take control of the Darkhold. There’s more to this story than just the various hints that Agatha sadly gave up Nicholas Scratch before to the WandaVision events. In the terrible conclusion of WandaVision, Wanda had to make a very tough choice. Wanda made the decision to give up her false happy existence and bid her kids Billy and Tommy farewell in order to liberate her captors after she realized the truth about her WestView spell and how she had unintentionally harmed the town’s citizens. Monica Rambeau confirms the price to Wanda once the grave deed is completed, saying, “They’ll never know what you sacrificed for them.” Wanda’s happy ending was obviously only made possible by her unforgiveable crimes against WestView, but there was a true sacrifice made. Additionally, one of the most significant hints to Teen’s identity in WandaVision comes from Jennifer Kale’s comment referring to Teen as “another child sacrifice”. Not only is there a chance that he may be Agatha’s next sacrifice, but he is already another child sacrifice, right beside Nicholas Scratch.
Teen might also be Nicholas Scratch, Agatha’s missing son, which would account for his attraction to her. Jennifer informs Teen, in the third episode, about the allegations that Agatha is surrendering her son to the Darkhold. Teen first expresses shock and disputes Agatha’s willingness to take such action, almost as if he is aware of Nicholas’s true destiny. His response might be used by some to support his identification, giving the impression that he is Nicholas and that his mother did not sacrifice him. But soon after, Teen and Alice have a talk that sets up a huge WandaVision link for the next episode. It’s nearly hard to ignore the reality that’s being revealed when you combine that piece of speech with the other hints from the program, such as Teen dressing up as Billy from WandaVision for Halloween and the notion that he is a “child sacrifice”. Teen’s chronology aligning with the Westview Anomaly had to be more than just a coincidence, especially in light of the information that was verified in the first two episodes regarding the show’s position in the timeline following WandaVision. Agatha All Along’s final episodes are probably going to disclose Teen’s actual identity, but every episode that has come out thus far has strongly suggested that Teen is Billy Maximoff.
