The eagerly awaited release of Marvel Rivals is scheduled for December 6 in a few days. With some of the most recognizable characters ever made, this 6v6 hero shooter in the vein of Overwatch has a lot of hype to live up to. There are many possible outfits to sell for real money in Marvel Rivals because the game features comic book characters that have made several appearances in a wide variety of comic book stories, realms, timelines, etc. As a free-to-play game, it must undoubtedly generate income in some way, and skin microtransactions will be its primary source of income. Without a question, fans are thrilled to be able to employ some of their favorite comic looks for their favorite comic characters, but if the price is too high, some of that joy could not last long. In a recent livestream, Sacriel revealed the cost of a few skins in Marvel Rivals.
What Is the Price of Skins in Marvel Rivals?
Like many other games, Marvel Rivals has many “rarities” or “tiers” for skins, with more expensive skins at higher tiers.
When not on sale, it seems that MCU skins will cost $2400, while purple tier skins will cost $2200 of the premium money. At this time, the costs of each tier remain unknown. This is all we have thus far. It is unknown how $1 USD is converted to one premium currency. The price of $22 USD for a single skin, however, seems about right for a free-to-play game in the current video game market, and it’s probably going to be $1 USD = 100 premium currency because that would be consistent with the currency conversion for many other games and make the math for the consumer easy.
