The date and time of Daredevil: Born Again episode 9’s Disney Plus premiere

Next week’s season finale will mark the culmination of Daredevil: Born Again’s first season. Given how many devoted fans switched from the original Netflix series, the MCU series was sure to start off well, which is why its popularity is all the more remarkable. Born Again seems like a fitting homage to its predecessor and is able to preserve the tone of the original series. Just as season 2 filming has started, season 1 of Daredevil: Born Again is about to conclude with the release of episode 8. The amount of material that the program has covered in just eight episodes is astounding. Matt had initially planned to retire from the life of a vigilante, but a series of unfortunate incidents compelled him to don the mask once more. Matt and Wilson Fisk’s cat-and-mouse game has been a recurring dynamic throughout the series, from Hector Ayala’s killing to his fiancée being captured by serial killer Muse. The forthcoming Daredevil: Born Again season finale will undoubtedly bring everything to a climax, since Episode 8 shows Matt approaching the mayor as close as he has this season.

On Tuesday, April 15 at 9 p.m. ET, Daredevil: Born Again Episode 9 will be streamed on Disney+. In other time zones, the show will be simultaneously broadcast at 8 p.m. CT, 7 p.m. MT, and 6 p.m. PT. This Tuesday will be the final Tuesday that Daredevil fans will receive new content because episode 9 concludes season 1, but fortunately, they won’t have to wait long. The second season of Daredevil: Born Again is presently in development and should premiere in the first half of 2026.

Matt was able to piece together in Episode 8 that Vanessa, not Kingpin, was the one who set up Foggy’s death. His encounter with the Fisks is interrupted, though, when Bullseye breaks out of jail and tries to murder Kingpin. Though he will undoubtedly survive the incident because he will appear in season 2, episode 9 will explore the aftermath, Matt ultimately takes the bullet intended for Fisk. It’s also possible that Matt and Heather’s relationship may end in the season finale. Given Heather’s developing aversion to masked vigilantes, he will need to reveal his identity soon if he is to maintain her trust. In the last episodes, a significant character has been conspicuously absent. Since Matt was inspired to become a vigilante once more by his earlier chat with Frank Castle, the program is probably reserving Punisher’s eventual comeback for a dramatic conclusion. Although their opponent is yet unknown, he is confirmed to make a comeback in Daredevil: Born Again episode 9 as Punisher, fighting alongside Daredevil. The season finale of Daredevil: Born Again must be excellent since it will be crucial in establishing season 2, which shouldn’t be a problem given the popularity of season 1.
