For their next MCU film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Marvel Studios and Disney have unveiled a brand-new 30-second trailer, and it features a lot more Ant-Men than one might anticipate. While Scott Lang’s first two movies were regarded as “palette-cleansers” and frequently experimented with lower stakes, such is not the case this time. The writer of the film claims that the title character “inadvertently [finds] himself [alone] in an Avengers movie.” Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors, who actually made his screen debut towards the conclusion of Loki’s first season, is the main antagonist in this story. It appears that the main villain won’t make Ant-life Man’s any simpler.
In fact, there are over a hundred different scenes from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania that have been shared in fresh video from Marvel Studios. A fantastic new photo of Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang expanding and capturing a blazing bullet as it hurtles at him and his daughter can be seen near the opening of the teaser.
Cassie Lang of Kathryn Newton appears to be being kidnapped in this scene by Kang. This certainly occurs just before the terrible antagonist queries Ant-Man about whether he has ever murdered him.
The most exciting element of all is this quick shot of hundreds of Ant-Men collapsing; this scene is probably included in the earlier footage of a Giant-Man vanishing in front of Scott Lang.
What could possibly be happening with all those Ant-Men? Perhaps Scott is experiencing an illusion. There could be a playable relationship between Loki, the Multiverse, and the TVA. But juggling all of it at once could be too much for Quantumania. However, it’s also possible that viewers are having dreams. Like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it may possibly be one of the opening sequences of the film. This would instantly bring to mind the concept from that movie that dreams might be doorways into other realms. In the movie about the Quantum Realm and Kang the Conqueror, it seems like the ideal Multiverse link to make.
The most plausible explanation for what fans are witnessing, according to research into the Multiverse perspective, is that Scott Lang from Earth-616 is one of the many Variants. But how might such a scenario occur?
In the new teaser, Janet does claim that Kang has the ability to bend time. So maybe that is exactly what is being imagined. What if numerous timelines are broken during Scott Lang’s pivotal last fight with Jonathan Majors’ villain, causing Variants to flood out all over their conflict in the Quantum Realm? It’s likely that when Kang activates his fancy time-traveling chair, nothing positive happens. It will be difficult for Ant-Man to get over witnessing hundreds of his own people die in front of his eyes.
Why not think about cloning as a different possibility for the purpose of theorising?
The MCU hasn’t exactly addressed the subject as of yet, and MODOK (played by Corey Stoll in the movie) has a history with it. The original villain’s buried clone brain was used to make a “Superior” version of him, who ultimately came to believe he was superior; he (presumably) perished in an explosion. However, it would be better for the MCU to hold off on discussing cloning until either Mister Sinister and the X-Men arrive or until they get around to adapting the notorious Spider-Man Clone Saga.
