Marvel fans are no strangers to spoilers, leaks, and teasers. However, sometimes, the spoilers come straight from the horse’s mouth, and that’s what has happened this time. Jeff Loveness, a writer who has worked on numerous Marvel projects, recently dropped a hint that has left fans scratching their heads.
Jeff Loveness has been making the rounds promoting his latest project, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. However, during one of his interviews, he let slip some information that has fans worried about the future of Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye.
Jeff Loveness gave some significant indications that Daredevil, Moon Knight, and Hawkeye will face off against Kang’s variations in Avengers: Kang Dynasty. Loveness’s statement suggested that Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye, might meet his demise while battling Jonathan Majors’ Kang. He commented, “I wish Hawkeye the best of luck in his fight against the Kangs. I’m sure that Daredevil and Moon Knight will be very effective in taking on those foes.”
During the same interview, Jeff Loveness also discussed the character development of Kang and shared his admiration for the setup. He stated, “I really appreciate how he’s not a liar. If you go back and watch the movie and listen to what he’s saying, we’re in a lot of trouble because he’s the only one who can stop these guys.”
When Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania received negative reviews upon release, it was a difficult time for both the creators and Loveness. He disclosed in an interview, “To be honest, those reviews caught me off guard. I was in a pretty low place… Those were not positive reviews, and I was like, ‘What the heck?'”
