An official trailer for Rogers: The Musical, which is now showing in Disney California Adventure Park’s Hyperion Theatre over the summer, was uploaded to Disney Park’s YouTube page. The teaser, which teases a “classic tale of heroes, time travel, and romance,” has a number of unique song and dance routines, including World War II portions, a Nick Fury song, and an Avengers-themed ensemble. The Battle of New York song, “Save the City,” which Clint Barton listened to with his children in the pilot episode of Hawkeye, is then performed at the conclusion.

Rogers: The Musical is described as “an exhilarating and heartfelt experience for Super Hero fans, theatre enthusiasts, and families alike” in a statement on the Marvel website. The narrative follows Steve from his modest origins through his leadership of the Avengers, meeting Peggy Carter, collaborating with Nick Fury, and, of course, the Infinity Stones. A 60-piece orchestra will bring to life a variety of musical genres, including big band jazz, current funk, and classical orchestra, according to Rogers’ setlist.

The whole track of “Save the City,” which was written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Whitman, was posted online immediately after Hawkeye’s premiere, despite just a handful of its pieces being shown during the Hawkeye premiere. In the end, the complete musical sequence was used in the Hawkeye finale’s mid-credits scene. Initially presented to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige as a joke, the Avengers musical, according to director Rhys Thomas, “Kevin kind of jumped on it, much to my surprise. I then started turning around. Shit,’ it was suddenly like. What exactly is a musical in the MCU, and what should viewers anticipate? What is the process? Kevin clung to it tenaciously. “It will be great,”

In April, in honour of Disney’s centenary anniversary, an official release date for Rogers was revealed after the 30-minute Rogers: The Musical presentation was confirmed earlier in the year. In the meanwhile, Marvel Studios debuted Secret Invasion this month, a loose version of the 2008 comic book starring Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury. The remaining 2023 Marvel Cinematic Universe projects include The Marvels this autumn, Loki season 2 and Echo, a Hawkeye spinoff featuring Alaqua Cox’s eponymous character. Not only will Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprise their roles as Kingpin and Daredevil in Echo, but Echo will apparently release all of its episodes at once, in contrast to other Disney+ MCU series.

From June 30 to August 31 in Disney California Adventure Park, Roger the Musical will be performed.
