The highly anticipated movie Armor Wars has been planned for release on July 25th, 2025, however this date may be subject to change owing to the ongoing WGA strike. Regardless of any schedule revisions, Armor Wars is slated to follow Fantastic Four as the next Marvel Cinematic Universe feature. The film will debut Valentina Allegra De Fontaine as the main villain, who recruits Justin Hammer to build a “Iron Army.” This project acts as a contingency plan by the US government to counteract the rising threat posed by enhanced individuals, some of whom are compromising public safety. Armor Wars will tie together narrative themes established in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk, where it was revealed that the DODC has seized Stark Tech to hunt down and restrain potentially dangerous super-humans while upgrading their defenses. The DODC will play a crucial role in the movie.

Although the precise pilots of the Iron Suits built by Justin Hammer remain unclear, speculations claim that iconic Iron Man villains from the comics may serve this position. Earlier rumors from TheCosmicCircus stated that James Spader will reprise his role as Ultron in Armor Wars. However, the newest evidence reveals that Ultron’s comeback is still being explored inside the studio and has not been confirmed.

Joining up with Rhodey (played by Don Cheadle), Riri Williams, also known as Ironheart, will take part in the struggle against the Iron Army. Furthermore, discussions are underway to bring back other characters from the Iron Man franchise, perhaps bringing recognizable faces to this high-stakes struggle. With its deep narrative and the involvement of beloved characters, Armor Wars promises to provide an epic battle and examine the ramifications of wielding sophisticated technology in a society threatened by augmented persons.
