The series finale could see Avengers-level powers due to a Secret Invasion

While some Marvel Cinematic Universe fans believe Secret Invasion is too low-stakes, the whole Avengers power set is now at risk. “Harvest” is both the episode title and the name of Nick Fury’s scary collection. It’s also an intriguing MCU notion that may come back to haunt the heroes who aren’t even aware of its existence. Gravik’s objective in Secret Invasion is to acquire superpowers as well as create a conflict amongst human nations. He and G’iah have the abilities of Groot, Cull Obsidian, the Extremis formula from Iron Man 3, and the ice creature shown in Thor: The Dark World’s post-credits scene. His attack on the president in the previous episode demonstrates their might. Gravik, on the other hand, would be invincible if he could imbue himself with the abilities of Captain America, Marvel, and other Avengers. If Gravik or someone else, like as G’iah, obtain it, the MCU’s Super-Skrull will be its most powerful figure ever. Nonetheless, the existence of the Harvest demonstrates that, despite the passage of time, Fury remains constant. If there are superheroes, there will be individuals who attempt to claim their powers. Even though Fury dispatched Gravik and his Skrulls to acquire it in order to avert this, he had to know this clash was inevitable.

The Harvest isn’t described until towards the conclusion of the episode since Secret Invasion continues to employ a “cards down” method to narrative. The Battle for Earth in Avengers: Endgame demolished Tony Stark’s upstate New York Avengers Compound. In reality, Hawkeye dealt personally with some stray objects stolen from the site that belonged to Clint Barton and his wife. However, Fury sent his hidden Skrulls in to harvest the DNA from the Avengers’ blood that day. And, according to what he tells Sonya Falsworth, every Avenger, including Carol Danvers, was involved. The risks of Hulk blood in the wrong hands were shown by She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Because Fury is the type of person who plans ahead, sending his soldiers on a blood quest is only marginally less disturbing. He’s also the sort of person who doesn’t trust anyone, least of all the intelligence agency for which he works. So it makes logical for him to send in the Skrulls, who have served as his secret army since the events of Captain Marvel 30 years ago. But he’s not convinced he received all of that Avenger DNA. It also begs the issue of whether additional eerie or powerful artefacts may have vanished from the site.

The Avengers’ activities between the end of Age of Ultron and the beginning of Endgame are primarily left to viewers’ imaginations. There were several individuals working at the facility. The history is open enough that Marvel Studios might develop a dozen quasi-prequels, such as the Black Window picture set between the films. It’s likely that Wong, the new Sorcerer Supreme after Thanos dusted Doctor Strange, took certain problematic magical artefacts there for safekeeping. At the very least, the location was rife with proprietary Stark technology. The MCU’s future may continue to expand from this point in time, beginning with the Skrulls. The closing moment in “Harvest” between Sonya and Fury is subtle, but it hints that he views the Skrull battle as “family business.” He knew The Harvest would be a target, so he moved it from wherever Gravik felt it should be. Perhaps it’s one of those issues he’d deal with when they arise, or it’s something he’s already planned for. Secret Invasion appears to be preparing G’iah to succeed Talos as the MCU’s chief Skrull. She already possesses Super-Skrull abilities, but might she get even more? Fury might let her keep an eye on it whether she uses it or not. Fury may not be able to protect the Skrulls if they are threatened again.

The DNA of the greatest assemblage of Avengers may be a wonderful plot idea for Secret Invasion. There’s no certainty that the DNA would grant anyone abilities, at least not Iron Man or Ant-Man. Still, the MCU after Endgame is an arms race. Sharon Carter is The Power Broker, who grants abilities to whoever pays the most. Justin Hammer, the aspiring Tony Stark, is still on the loose. Everyone wants Wakanda and its vibranium. The Harvest is just another sci-fi method for the wrong people to gain power. If that happens in the Secret Invasion series finale, it won’t be the last time MCU viewers see whomever receives it.
