As Disney+ promises to provide behind-the-scenes video showcasing how it was developed, Secret Invasion appears to be ready to reveal its secrets to the miniseries’ fans. Disney’s streaming service will debut Marvel Studios’ Assembled: The Making of Secret Invasion on September 20th, according to Disney Plus Informer. certain in-depth interviews with the actors and crew of the self-titled six-episode miniseries are included in The Making of Secret Invasion, along with unique behind-the-scenes material that demonstrates how certain sequences were put together. Around two months following the airing of the final episode of Secret Invasion, the making-of documentary will be released. Ali Selim, who directed Secret Invasion, and Samuel L. Jackson, who served as executive producers, were the first Phase 5 series to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Secret Invasion disappointed many Marvel fans following the early excitement for the miniseries, which is based on the 2008 comic crossover event of the same name. Secret Invasion had the lowest critical score (54%) for an MCU Disney+ series, drawing criticism for its contentious writing and the choice to kill off beloved characters. The final episode, “Home,” received particularly harsh criticism and easily had the lowest rating for a single MCU episode.

In Secret Invasion, Jackson returned to his long-running role as Nick Fury from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series followed the hardships of its lead character as he dealt with tragedy, growing older, and his marriage to Priscilla (Charlayne Woodard). The miniseries was centred on the invasion of Earth by a sizable force of radicalised Skrulls commanded by the frightening Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Adir), who would also be destroying the world while assuming the guise of important human political figures.

Despite the bad reviews of Secret Invasion, Selim has been largely unconcerned by the criticism because he was happy with the end result. However, he acknowledged that he anticipates “death threats” in the event that a surprise Skrull disclosure occurs on the programme. Selim collaborated with a stellar ensemble that included Emilia Clarke, Don Cheadle, Ben Mendelsohn, Martin Freeman, and Olivia Colman from Game of Thrones. The Marvels, the much awaited Captain Marvel sequel, and Armour Wars, which centres on Cheadle’s James “Rhodey” Rhodes/War Machine, were both set up by the events of Secret Invasion. Secret Invasion was just the second MCU production without a post-credits sequence, despite having tie-ins to both films and other significant plot arcs.
