A New Trailer For The MCU Features The Suicide Squad Star

Spread MCU News

The newly released trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in May increased the already high level of anticipation for the film in every way, from Rocket’s expanded history to Gamora’s prominent position. The most recent MCU teaser, which featured a number of beloved characters and situations, brilliantly captured the essence of the Guardians and was both colourful and entertaining as well as moving and heartbreaking. However, although being quick, there was another disclosure in the trailer that was simple to miss. When taken into consideration, however, the significance of this less-noticed expose can be more than first appears.

One DCU Star Makes an MCU Debut

In the most recent Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 teaser, Daniela Melchior (Ratcatcher-2) from The Suicide Squad makes her MCU debut. Melchior will have a tiny role in James Gunn’s upcoming Marvel movie, but the specifics of her character are still unknown. Melchior is acquainted with Gunn’s and the Guardians’ distinct sense of comedy because they previously collaborated on The Suicide Squad as Ratcatcher.

Fans do not yet know what small part Melchior will play in the MCU, but they do know that it won’t be Moondragon, Drax’s daughter. Fans may anticipate the DCU star’s appearance in the rival superhero franchise in May in either case.

It is still difficult to determine Melchior’s function without Moondragon in the scene. However, her introduction in the trailer could provide some context. She resembles the Nova Corps in terms of appearance a great deal, as shown in earlier Guardians of the Galaxy films and in Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Disney World’s EPCOT. Melchior may portray a centurion or another member of the Nova Corps. The orange jumpsuits the Guardians are wearing in the trailer sequence would go with that.

On May 5, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will opens in theatres.
