A recent update should please those anticipating a potential season 2 of Agatha All Along, but it may change another forthcoming MCU series. Marvel and Disney were surprised by the success of Agatha All Along. Although Kathryn Hahn’s portrayal of the evil Agatha Harkness in Wandavision was a scene-stealer, fans weren’t convinced whether a complete series centered around her character could succeed. Nevertheless, it proved to be a captivating triumph. Both crowds and critics praised it, and its popularity grew every week. Jac Schaeffer, the showrunner and director, produced a superb series that successfully blended humor, emotion, and drama while capturing the essence of Halloween. Originally advertised as a miniseries, the show just underwent a significant revamp that increases the likelihood that it will earn a second season. Given that Agatha All Along is listed as season 1 on Disney+, a season 2 announcement may be imminent. The MCU’s intentions for its Vision Quest series, which supposedly wraps out a television trilogy, might be altered by season 2.
The narrative of White Vision, who left Westview following the Wandavision events, is continued in the unofficially named Vision Quest series. Paul Bettany will reprise his role in the series as this new Vision looks for his life’s purpose. James Spader, who hasn’t portrayed Ultron since 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, will also make a comeback in the Vision spinoff. Vision Quest is “meant to be the third part of a trilogy” that began with Wandavision and proceeded with Agatha All Along, according to The Hollywod Reporter.
“Based on how Agatha All Along season 1 ended, it’s likely a better idea for Marvel to keep Agatha’s events separate from the Vision series.“
If season 2 of Agatha All Along comes out after Vision Quest, their plans would be drastically changed. This trilogy would continue, and the MCU’s “Wandavision corner” would continue beyond the Vision spinoff. Given the conclusion of Agatha All Along season 1, Marvel would probably be better off keeping Agatha’s adventures apart from the Vision series. Following Wandavision’s happenings, Agatha All Along investigated what became to Wanda and Vision’s children following the conclusion of the Westview anomaly. William Kaplan, a youngster who recently passed away close to the oddity, received Billy’s soul. Billy and a spectral Agatha depart on a search for Tommy at the end of the season, but Billy is still unable to locate Tommy. Their hunt would probably take place in Vision Quest, bringing Vision and his kids back together, as season 2 has not yet been announced. But Marvel ought to keep looking for Tommy in season two of Agatha All Along. Bettany’s android and his quest for a new identity and purpose should be the main subject of Vision Quest. By adding too many side storylines that make Vision Quest a muddle, including Agatha and Billy into this series would take away from Vision’s narrative. Marvel should also take advantage of Agatha All Along’s popularity by carrying on the plot in a remote setting. Without being connected to Agatha’s offshoot, Vision Quest may thrive alone.
