There are a ton of speculations circulating about who may show up in Deadpool & Wolverine, so it’s plausible that Eric Bana will play the Hulk again. The actor, nevertheless, is cautioning fans not to get too enthusiastic since he disapproves of the notion. In a recent appearance on The Jess Cagle Show on SiriusXM, Bana addressed the rumors of a Deadpool and Wolverine cameo, according to Screen Rant. “I can’t see that happening,” the actor said in response to Jess Cagle bringing up the speculations she had read regarding Bana making a cameo. I apologize sincerely, Jess. Even though Hugh Jackman is one of his best friends, he said, “I still can’t see that happening.”

It’s difficult to predict with certainty who will appear in Deadpool & Wolverine. Although there’s a chance that some of the speculated names may come to pass, most stars would probably refrain from giving away any plot details, so a cameo denial doesn’t guarantee anything. Until Spider-Man: No Way Home hit cinemas, Andrew Garfield notoriously brazenly denied he was in the movie, even though he played a significant role in it. Though it doesn’t seem like Bana is actively pushing for it to happen, he might or might not ever play the Hulk again. He also disclosed that he wasn’t initially attracted to the Hulk, acknowledging that it was director Ang Lee’s participation that made him want to participate. Bana stated that he wasn’t planning to portray the role in several films because the movie was shot prior to the MCU’s founding.

“At first, I thought there was no way. That sort of purse isn’t mine. I don’t believe this is me,” Bana said. “And then we spoke about it more and more, and I was like, ‘Well, what’s this going to be like?'” Bana added, “since when I said yes, I didn’t have a screenplay either. I was really, really throwing all of my eggs into the Ang Lee basket for that movie, and all I knew was that it would be really, incredibly different, and that it wouldn’t even exist back then. The Marvel universe was not yet established.” The actor went on, “You didn’t go into those movies expecting to make more than one.” You’re right; that paradigm didn’t exist. The desire to collaborate with someone as talented as Ang was the primary motivator.”
