Adapting the time runs out storyline for Doctor Strange 3

The “Time Runs Out” comic book plot is allegedly being adapted for Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange 3. For Doctor Strange 3, which is rumoured to be in the works despite no official confirmation from the studio, Marvel plans to adapt parts from the “Time Runs Out” comic storyline. If this were to be the case, Doctor Strange 3 would start just after the mid-credits sequence in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, in which the title character and Clea entered the Dark Dimension to repair an invasion that he made. The Black Priests are a multiversal organisation with a headquarters located between two dead universes as a result of an incursion. Clea will be revealed to be a member of The Black Priests in the next threequel.

From September 2014 to April 2015, the story “Time Runs Out” appeared in the pages of Avengers and New Avengers from Marvel Comics. It was based on a countdown to the end of the Marvel Universe and the degeneration of the Multiverse. The Marvel Cinematic Multiverse is perishing as a result of several intrusions, including the one brought on by Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness, as will be revealed in Doctor Strange 3. The Council of Kangs is the second-biggest menace to the Multiverse after Doctor Strange, according to the threequel. Kang may or may not appear in the movie, although Doctor Strange 3 will act as a direct prequel to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.
