After the Drax journey, Dave Bautista shares his hopes for the MCU's return.

The adored Drax from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, played by Dave Bautista, talked about a potential comeback. Regarding his future as Drax, Bautista spoke candidly in an interview. The actor debuted in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie in 2014, and he went on to play the same character in several Marvel movies, video games, and TV shows. But once James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy came to an end, the actor said that he was “done with my journey as Drax.” Bautista went on to say, “When I said that I was done, I was really just done with my journey as Drax.” The actor said that he still has “a relationship with Marvel” in response to the question of whether he will appear in another Marvel film. As recently as two weeks ago, I saw Lou D’Esposito and Kevin Feige once again. They are also aware of my willingness to play a part.” “I adore the cosmos,” he said, “especially the superhero universe. I like it. So I would answer the phone if Marvel or DC called. And I would be all over the part if it made sense. All I want is the chance to play a larger, different part. perhaps a more significant function. I would like the chance to pretend to be a menacing antagonist from a superhero comic book. Yes. But never. I have not finished it. But I’m done travelling with Drax.”

The actor has a tonne of intriguing projects coming up, despite no longer having plans to portray Drax. Among them is Dune: Part Two, in which he returned to the Beast Rabban character from the original movie. The actor is expected to play a larger part than he did in the first movie, and the 2021 blockbuster is expected to do better than the first. Based on Frank Herbert’s Dune novel, the second installment of the adaptation made its Rotten Tomatoes debut with a 97% score and a Certified Fresh rating. The certification surpasses Dune’s 83% Certified Fresh mark from 2021. Dune: Part Two is predicted to have a stronger opening weekend than its predecessor, Dune (2021), with a projected box office receipt of $65 million, as opposed to Dune’s $41 million opening weekend. Josh Brolin, another MCU actor, and Dave Bautista were reunited in Dune: Part Two. In a recent interview, the actor talked about having a “man crush” on Brolin. “God, I have a man crush, a huge man crush on Josh Brolin,” he said. “I love him as a performer, as a human being.”
