“Agatha All Along” has made a significant impact on Disney+ since its premiere on September 18, amassing 9.3 million views within the first week. This impressive figure demonstrates the strong interest and anticipation surrounding the series, which serves as a spinoff from the 2021 Marvel limited series “WandaVision.” The episode’s total watch time, calculated by Disney’s metric of dividing the total amount of time watched by the runtime, amounts to approximately 6.5 million hours. This indicates not only a high number of views but also a substantial amount of engagement from the audience.

Comparing the opening week of “Agatha All Along” to other Disney+ series, it appears to be in line with the debuts of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” and “The Acolyte,” which achieved 13.3 million views in six days and 11.1 million views in five days, respectively. However, the lack of a standardized time frame for these statistics from Disney makes direct comparisons challenging. Nonetheless, it is clear that “Agatha All Along” is trailing behind “Ahsoka,” the Star Wars series that premiered in August 2023 and reached 14 million views in just five days.

The series stars Kathryn Hahn reprising her role as Agatha Harkness, who, after being freed from a spell with the help of a goth teen played by Joe Locke, embarks on a quest down the Witches’ Road to regain her powers. The ensemble cast includes notable actors such as Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, and others, with guest appearances by Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza. The narrative of “Agatha All Along” promises a blend of supernatural adventure and character-driven storytelling, continuing the rich tapestry of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney+.
