Kathryn Hahn, star of Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, hinted at the next Disney+ series’ WandaVision-like storyline. Hahn expressed her enthusiasm for fans to discover what Agatha: Darkhold Diaries has in store in an interview, calling it “pretty fabulous.” She guaranteed that the WandaVision offshoot will undoubtedly surprise people, without giving away any plot details. “What a fantastic cast. Everyone’s work in this show is amazing, and I think people will be astonished,” Hahn remarked. I don’t think so; I believe people will believe it to be one direction, but it will, of course, take many different turns, much like WandaVision. With Marvel Studios’ inaugural Disney+ series WandaVision, which debuted the Bad Moms star as a formidable witch named Agatha Harkness, Hahn made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2021. Not only did she quickly win over fans, but she also garnered critical acclaim and was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series. November 2021 saw Marvel Studios formally confirm the production of an Agatha Harkness spinoff, following the success of the Elizabeth Olsen-led series.
Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ most recent synopsis states that the show would open with the title witch attempting to regain her abilities after awakening from the Scarlet Witch’s spell in the WandaVision finale. “We witness Agatha Harkness ultimately free herself from a spell she’s been imprisoned under in the first episode. She is eager to return to her previous homicidal methods but discovers she is helpless. Her only option is to go out on a risky mission to regain her powers with the assistance of one or more unusual friends.” As part of her overall agreement with Marvel Studios and 20th Television, Black Widow and WandaVision author Jac Schaeffer is the creator and executive producer of Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. In addition, MCU rookies Aubrey Plaza, Patti LuPone, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Ali Ahn will be appearing on Disney+. It is anticipated that Plaza and LuPone will be a part of Agatha’s coven. Returning residents of Westview, Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caulfied Ford, and Asif Ali, will be joining them. Regarding Locke, there have been new rumours circulating that he may be portraying Billy, Wanda’s teenage son, who is a member of the Young Avengers in comic books. Interestingly, The Marvels concluded with a hint to the aforementioned team’s MCU debut. The Heartstopper breakthrough highlighted the relationship between Hahn’s Agatha Harkness and his enigmatic persona in an earlier interview, saying that his favourite moment from the series is when he gets into a fight with Agatha.
