Joe Locke thoroughly enjoyed performing his chemistry read for Agatha: Darkhold Diaries with Kathryn Hahn. The Heartstopper star talked about securing his role in the Wanda Vision spinoff and getting to play off Hahn as the formidable witch Agatha Harkness in an interview. Locke teased a fight between him and Kathryn in which he caught her off guard by delivering a more aggressive line delivery. “I remember executive producer and head writer Jac Schaeffer taking a picture of our matching Vans, and that was the point I was like, okay, maybe this is going well,” Locke said.” Worked for the scene,” he said, calling the performance in question “amazing, and I just remember that feeling like, ‘Wow, this is the coolest. “I work with the most incredible actress. The two later resurfaced as different twins in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.Locke, Hahn, and Aubrey Plaza are joined on the programme by Rio Vidal, an original character. This is Plaza’s second major Marvel role, after her portrayal as Lenore Busker/Shadow King on FX’s critically acclaimed X-Men series Legion.The plot of DarkholdDiaries, on the other hand, hinted to Harkness escaping Wanda’s mental captivity near the conclusion of WandaVision, “only to discover that she is helpless.”Her only option is to go out on a risky mission to regain her powers with the assistance of one or more unusual friends.”
Agatha: Darkhold Diaries was first announced as Agatha: House of Harkness, then as Agatha: Coven of Chaos, and finally as Darkhold Diaries.
