Garfield’s portrayal of Spider-Man earned fresh affection and support after his presence in Spider-Man: No Way Home, prompting fans to lobby for a third film. Over 30,000 people have signed a petition urging Sony to make The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and continue Garfield’s Spider-Man adventure. However, the possibility of the third film going into production remains doubtful. According to rumours, Garfield’s Spider-Man may feature in forthcoming Sony flicks such as Venom 3 and Kraven The Hunter.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2’s release on Disney+ was delayed owing to distribution rights and previous streaming partnerships. Unfortunately, no Spider-Man films are currently available on Disney+ in the United Kingdom. Spider-Man fans have had a busy year, with the highly praised Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse entering theatres and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PlayStation 5 on the way. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and the second Venom feature all still absent from Disney+. Given that Venom and Spider-Man: Homecoming are currently available on the platform, it is probable that these movies will be added to the streaming library in the near future.
