In eerie new Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania fan art, Kang the Conqueror is seen reclining among the bloody spoils of the Avengers he just slain. In the first film of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starring Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror poses the next Avengers-level danger. The movie, which also stars Evangeline Lilly, Kathryn Newton, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, and Bill Murray, is set in the Quantum Realm where Kang is imprisoned. In Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, Kang will eventually face up against the Avengers in Phase 6.

Close-up shots show a variety of equipment and armour that belonged to several of the Avengers, now covered in the blood of the heroes he has likely killed. Aside from other items, the Ant-Man helmet, Thor’s Stormbreaker, and Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet with all six Infinity Stones are all visible. “And If You Think I’m Bad, Well, Just Wait Till You Meet My Other Variants,” says the menacing, frightening caption, hinting at Kang the Conqueror’s numerous other manifestations throughout the cosmos.
The Avengers Face a Serious Threat From Kang the Conqueror
Over the history of the MCU, The Avengers have faced a number of serious dangers, including fights against Loki, Ultron, and Thanos. By far the most formidable foe to yet, Thanos even managed to defeat the Avengers in Avengers: Infinity War by obtaining all six Infinity Stones and eradicating half of the universe’s inhabitants. But Kang the Conqueror is anticipated to be the most formidable opponent the Avengers have yet to encounter. There are a tonne of Kang varieties dispersed around the multiverse, most of whom are dedicated to the total control of all reality, and the time traveller has the power to alter and destroy histories.
She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and Shang-Chi were among the new heroes introduced in Phase 4 of the MCU, all of whom have the potential to be very significant in the future. In Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, while being more powerful than ever, the Avengers still confront the toughest test of their life when they run across the time-traveling war criminal. It seems likely that Kang the Conqueror will defeat the Avengers and become the more powerful villain after having already fallen to Thanos. Kang is an experienced time traveller and would probably thwart any effort by the Avengers to utilise time travel to defeat him, even if they used it to ultimately erase the Mad Titan’s victory in the Quantum Realm.
After He Who Remains from Loki season 1, Quantumania will debut the second Kang variation to have appeared in the MCU thus far. Before being slain by Sylvie, a Loki version, who was more kind, this variant was securing the Sacred Timeline and releasing all the more vicious Kang variants upon the multiverse. Even if the Avengers are successful in stopping one Kang, there are still other others who share his objectives. The heroes will have to put up a tremendous amount of effort to be able to defeat Kang the Conqueror in all of his incarnations, including the one shown in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which hits cinemas on February 17.
