Marvel fans will effectively receive a fourth season of Daredevil in 2025 when Daredevil: Born Again, a Disney+ series, premieres. Now that Daredevil is officially MCU canon, the new series serves as a continuation of the previous program, bringing back a large number of original cast members and acknowledging the events of the show directly. Jon Bernthal, reprising his role as Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher, is one of the returning cast members for the series. Bernthal discussed his comeback in Daredevil: Born Again with Marvel Entertainment while attending Disney’s D23 Expo. Given that so many of the show’s beloved characters are returning to reprise their roles, he predicted that Born Again will be a huge hit with Daredevil fans. This includes Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), who were both in attendance at D23 alongside Bernthal.
Regarding the affection he was receiving from fans for his comeback as Frank Castle in Daredevil: Born Again, Bernthal described it as “genuine, genuine excitement.” If you like the first show, I predict you will enjoy this one as well. We’re simply pushing it a bit farther, in my opinion. We’re all really glad to be here and that we’re all here. We’re thrilled with what we accomplished, and I believe that show fans will be overjoyed.”

“I mean, I don’t think we thought it was going to happen,” Woll said. As you may know, it’s not uncommon for you to collaborate once again after completing a project. It is very uncommon to be able to sort of return to connections, particularly friendships and professional partnerships that you truly appreciate.” You know how it seems like you didn’t miss any time at all when you get back together with someone you truly connect with, even if you may have been separated for a long period? That’s very much how it feels too,” Henson added.
