Following a picture reunion, Krysten Ritter feeds speculation that she may make an appearance in the forthcoming Disney series Daredevil: Born Again. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, who play Daredevil and Kingpin, were seen in photos with Ritter, who played Jessica Jones in the Netflix Marvel series of the same name. In a picture posted by D’Onofrio, the group could be seen together at the GalaxyCon Austin. Ritter maybe will be appearing with the two in Daredevil: Born Again, according to rumours sparked by their reunion. Ritter stated that she is optimistic about reprising her role as the Marvel superhero while appearing on the podcast Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum. When asked if she would consider playing the superhero Jessica Jones again, she said: “I have no clue; I hope so! She continued: Marvel is so mysterious – I am just putting that out there that, of course, I would be there in a second. I think that people adore Jessica; I know because I live it. I would be dressed to kill in my boots and blazer.
The first season of Daredevil: Born Again will include 18 episodes, which is more than enough time to bring back characters from Marvel’s Netflix series. To reprise his role as Frank Castle from Netflix’s Daredevil and his own series The Punisher, Jon Bernthal has been cast in the next Disney series. Margarita Levieva, Sandrine Holt, Michael Gandolfini, and Nikki M. James are more members of the core cast that have been officially announced. A significant part in the next revival series of Marvel has been cast for Arty Froushan. Elden Henson, who portrayed Foggy Nelson in the Netflix series, and Deborah Ann Woll, who played Karen Page, are allegedly not returning for Born Again. The Defenders on Netflix featured a collaboration between Charlie Cox and Krysten Ritter. Intentionally included in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the film Born Again. Cox played Murdock in the 2021 movie Spider-Man: No Way Home and the 2022 season of the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Kingpin makes a cameo in Disney+’s Hawkeye and seems to have developed into a much more formidable foe for Murdock as he was able to resist Kate Bishop’s arrows and an explosion. The series, which is filmed in New York, is written by Matt Corman and Chris Ord. Early March 2023 saw the start of production for the Disney+ series; however, Born Again was put on hold in June as a result of the Writers Guild of America strike that year. Fans might not be able to access Daredevil: Born Again until 2025 as a result.
