Deadpool 3: Time Crimes, Multiverse Madness, and the House of M

Plot Overview

In the upcoming “Deadpool 3,” our irreverent hero finds himself arrested by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) for misusing Cable’s time-travel device. Cable and Domino do not appear, but a TVA judge, played by Emma Corrin, mentions that Cable has been returned to his original time period in exchange for his technology. The TVA, overwhelmed by the various time travel methods from the X-Men movies, plans to erase Deadpool. However, he is spared due to the intervention of TVA Agent Paradox (Matthew McFadyen), whom Deadpool humorously insists on calling “Bob.”

A New Mission and the Multiverse

Deadpool’s new mission involves addressing the chaos left in the wake of 616 Wanda’s death. Her spirit inhabits 838 Wanda’s body, leading to a House of M scenario where Magneto, played by Ian McKellen, rules a world where mutants are the majority. The X-Men, styled after their 90s designs but portrayed by the Singer cast, serve Magneto to protect this mutant-dominated world from the human brotherhood, which includes characters like Nick Fury, Jimmy Woo, Dopinder, and Pete from “Deadpool 2.” Sympathetic mutants such as Colossus, Yukio, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Wolverine also join the fray.

Chaos and Cameos

Logan, upon learning about time travel, hijacks Paradox’s device, leading to a journey through various Fox worlds and a cameo by Channing Tatum as a future Gambit. He eventually lands in the events of “X2” and “Last Stand,” where Wanda’s changes make Magneto’s victory over humanity a reality. Deadpool rallies surviving Fox heroes for a climactic battle against Magneto’s forces, reminiscent of “Last Stand’s” Golden Gate Bridge fight. This chaotic showdown features Logan from “Logan” and X23, along with multiple Deadpools, including one played by Ryan Reynolds in a Wrexham shirt.

Aftermath

The battle results in massive casualties, including many civilians. Wanda is ultimately depowered by the mutant cure, and the TVA banishes her, Deadpool, Paradox, and House of M Logan to the main MCU timeline, deeming them someone else’s problem. Logan embarks on a quest to find the rest of the MCU’s mutants, while Deadpool returns to his apartment, finding Blind Al in his bed.

Conclusion

“Deadpool 3” promises a wild ride through time and the multiverse, blending humor, action, and the complex legacy of the X-Men films. With Deadpool’s irreverent charm and the MCU’s expansive narrative, fans can expect an unforgettable cinematic experience.
