Renowned comic book writer Rob Liefeld, who is most recognized for developing the Deadpool character, gives fans a preview of what to anticipate from Wolverine and Deadpool. Liefeld affirms that the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie will have a “mind-blowing” post-credits sequence for viewers. Prior to the film’s July release, Liefeld addressed a fresh allegation made by an insider regarding Deadpool & Wolverine via X. The post-credits sequence is something that Insider MyTimeToShineHello disclosed to be aware of, describing it as “so mind-blowing” and said that she “can’t believe they were able to pull this off without anyone knowing.” Reiterating the insider tip, Liefeld said she “ain’t lying to you.”

According to online surveys, Liefeld and the insider’s post-credits sequence tease greater intrigue in what is predicted to be the biggest summer film of 2024. The most recent teaser for Deadpool and Wolverine had many Easter eggs, a sneak peek at a fearsome X-Men adversary, and a clever joke about Liefeld’s feet. Fans have conjectured about whether the post-credits scene, which contains indications about a new character that may join the MCU, is a prelude to a future movie. Apart from the teasers, Deadpool and Wolverine’s marketing campaign has been quite extravagant. Prior to its debut, the Shawn Levy-directed film is allegedly going to screen a PSA against cellphones in theaters. The PSA will supposedly have connections to Avengers: Secret Wars. A “crude and lewd” popcorn bucket has also been insisted upon by the film, which takes its cue from the recently released NSFW Dune: Part Two at AMC Theaters.

Despite being the third Deadpool movie in the franchise, Deadpool & Wolverine is the first to be released under the MCU brand; Levy maintains that the picture is not a threequel. The previous two Deadpool films were distributed by 20th Century Fox. Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine, making his first appearance as the tough, clawed character since Logan, while Ryan Reynolds plays the title character once more. Additionally confirmed to participate in the movie are Brianna Hildebrand, Jennifer Garner, Morena Baccarin, and Karan Soni. Levy has also hinted at a number of star appearances, Taron Egerton, Halle Berry, and Taylor Swift among those anticipated to make an appearance. Liefeld, who developed Deadpool in the 1990s, recently declared that he will be leaving the Deadpool comic book series at the conclusion of Bad Blood. The movie version of his comic book Avengelyne is scheduled to be directed by Olivia Wilde and star Barbie actress Margot Robbie in the lead role.
