Fans are extremely excited about director Shawn Levy’s announcement that Deadpool 3 won’t ignore the X-Men character’s past with 20th Century Fox Studios. Complex rights concerns have plagued The X-Men’s cinematic journey since Marvel decided to sell their film rights to Fox in the 1990s in order to avoid financial trouble.

As a result of Disney’s 2019 acquisition of Fox, which included Fox’s popular X-Men series and blockbuster R-rated successes like Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool movies, the X-Men joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The MCU’s first R-rated film will be made history with Deadpool 3.

It is clear that Levy is dedicated to maintaining the tradition of 20th Century Fox with Deadpool 3. This homage is furthered by the leaked set photographs that show a sand sculpture of the 20th Century Fox logo that is reminiscent of The Void from the Loki series. Levy emphasizes that the Fox history will be a crucial component of their narrative while recognizing the iconic position of characters like Deadpool and Wolverine, who rose to legendary status in the Marvel universe during the Fox era.

A pivotal point in the development of the MCU has been reached with the incorporation of the Fox heritage in Deadpool 3, notably with Hugh Jackman’s comeback as Wolverine following a 17-year stint with 20th Century Fox. Fans excitedly anticipate how this exceptional chance will enable Deadpool to delve into Marvel’s rich cinematic heritage, perhaps even bringing back former X-Men actors. The inclusion of the Fox history promises an interesting combination of nostalgia and creativity in the Marvel Cinematic Universe while we wait for the arrival of Deadpool 3.
