Disney has officially confirmed that there will be five Marvel movies released next year. One of the highly anticipated films is “Captain America: Brave New World,” which is set to debut on February 14, 2025. This film will mark the first solo adventure of Sam Wilson as the new Captain America. Originally planned for an earlier release, the movie has undergone extensive rework, including the addition of new scenes written by Matthew Norton. With additional photography planned for this summer, fans can expect an exciting and adjusted version of the film.
Another significant release is “Fantastic Four,” which has faced delays due to slow development. However, it is now scheduled to hit theaters on May 2, 2025. Filming needs to commence in the coming months to avoid further delays. There is also talk of a potential release date swap with the “Thunderbolts” movie, which is slated for a July 25, 2025 debut. Recently, news circulated that Steven Yeun, initially cast as the new MCU hero ‘Sentry,’ dropped out of the project. If “Fantastic Four” faces further delays, “Thunderbolts” could take its place in the release schedule.
Additionally, fans can look forward to the long-awaited “Blade” movie, expected to hit cinemas on November 7, 2025. The film was initially announced in 2019 but has seen delays in production, leading to recent decisions to reset and find a new director. Lastly, another installment in the Spider-Man series is rumored to be released on June 25, 2025. While details are scarce, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has mentioned that they are actively developing the next chapter of the web-slinger’s story, and Tom Holland is expected to reprise his role, expressing his excitement for the upcoming sequel. Marvel fans have a thrilling year ahead with these exciting releases.
