Disney has released a never-before-seen post-credits clip from the MCU’s first movie, Iron Man, which has caused a stir among fans. The scene features Robert Downey Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson, setting a new standard for Hollywood. The scene also opened the door for Marvel to start its successful cinematic universe with team-up outings now on the table.

The post-credits scene featured Nick Fury telling Tony Stark about the Avengers Initiative for the first time, which became a trend for nearly every single MCU movie to follow. However, during an interview on the Disney-owned Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Iron Man director Jon Favreau shared an unused version of the post-credits scene from his 2008 MCU movie that had never been released to the public.

In this new version of the post-credits scene, while most of the dialogue is similar to the theatrical cut, Jackson unleashes his iconic “motherf***er” line when Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark asks who he is. The scene has caused a lot of excitement among fans, and the full clip can be seen on various online platforms.

However, it is worth noting that the chances of the F-word ever being included in an MCU movie are slim to none. While fans have been waiting for the first official F-bomb in MCU history, it is unlikely to happen until 2024’s Deadpool 3, which is confirmed to be the MCU’s first R-rated project.

Despite this, fans have expressed a keen interest in deleted scenes from the MCU, and it is impressive that this take remained in the vault for nearly 15 years. It remains to be seen whether Jackson will ever get the chance to make his signature phrase canon in the MCU someday through Nick Fury, but only time will tell.
