The image includes Johnson’s transformation into Apocalypse, the Cyclops skull, and the phrase “Only the strong will survive.” The Black Adam star would be ideal for the part of Apocalypse, the digital artist added.
“Following the recent rumors and the X-Men ’97 finale, I decided to create my version of En Sabah Nur, aka Apocalypse,” claimed the creator. “In my opinion, he is a fantastic character who merits a return to the big screen. Being a major admirer of Dwayne Johnson, I think he would be ideal for the role of this legendary antagonist. His strong presence and innate charm would blend in perfectly with Apocalypse’s menacing atmosphere. Imagine The Rock as a supervillain, ready to use his incredible abilities to take over the entire world! That would be fantastic to watch in cinemas.”
