Since his appearance in Iron Man 2, James “Rhodey” Rhodes, played by Don Cheadle, has played a significant role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the next Secret Invasion Disney+ series and his own movie, Armour Wars, Cheadle has indicated that there are more stories to be told about Rhodey’s identity. Fans will get to see different aspects of Rhodey as his emotional and psychological difficulties get solved, claims Cheadle.
The Disney+ original series Armour Wars will investigate what transpires when Iron Man’s technology is misused. The comic book tale with the same name, written by Yassir Lester, served as the basis for the movie. Cheadle has voiced his excitement for the movie since it will give him a chance to go deeper into Rhodey’s persona and define him outside the confines of Tony Stark.
Nick Fury and Talos will be tackling aliens invasion in Secret Invasion, another new Marvel comic. Along with Martin Freeman and Cobie Smulders, the series’ cast will include Cheadle as Rhodey. Fans can anticipate an exciting and action-packed journey with the addition of Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and other cast members. Fans are eagerly expecting Rhodey’s future because it is obvious that he will play a big part in the MCU.
