Since Charlie Cox’s Daredevil’s inclusion in the MCU was officially announced, rumours have been flying that Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as Jessica Jones. Fans have been wondering how many former actors would return to reprise their roles in forthcoming MCU projects now that Marvel Studios has regained their Defenders Saga characters from their original excursion on Netflix. Ritter has recently published a fresh training photo that has reignited suspicions once more.
One of the most well-liked Marvel Television programmes on Netflix, starring Ritter as Jessica Jones, was right up there with fan favourites Daredevil and The Punisher. Fans have been clamouring for Ritter to play the same character in one of the future “street level” Marvel programmes coming to Disney+ just for that reason. This has included potential cameos in movies like Spider-Man: Homecoming, Echo, and Daredevil: Born Again. Fans can only continue to conjecture online for the time being, and images of Ritter working out while wearing a T-shirt that reads “I Choose Justice” will always be the catalyst for that.
Whether through social media posts by Ritter including cast members from the past programmes or by her remarks during interviews for some of her other ventures, the return of Jessica Jones has been brought up frequently over the last year. Other than Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, no other Defenders Saga actors have been confirmed to reprise their previous Marvel roles as of yet, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen fast and subtly in the upcoming phase.
