Marvel has finally revealed the identity of Emilia Clarke’s character in the upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion. For months, fans have been speculating about who the Game of Thrones star would be playing, with rumors suggesting she could be a Skrull or a mutant, or even SWORD agent Abigail Brand. Now, Marvel has confirmed that Clarke will be playing G’iah, Talos’ daughter, who was last seen as a young girl in 2019’s Captain Marvel.

The news was shared via Vanity Fair, where Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury in the MCU, provided some more details about G’iah’s character. He described her as “the little Skrull girl grown up,” and hinted that her relationship with Talos would be central to the plot of the series.

Based on the report, it seems as though Talos and G’iah’s relationship may be a little strained, which could contribute to the events of the Disney+ series. It’s also worth noting that G’iah’s story in the MCU parallels that of Monica Rambeau, who was also young during the events of Captain Marvel and is now disillusioned with her Aunt Carol Danvers.
