Five Spider-Man films, including the Spider-Man trilogy from Tobey Maguire, The Amazing Spider-Man from Andrew Garfield, and Spider-Man: Homecoming from Tom Holland, are now available to Disney+ subscribers. Beginning on April 21, the movies will be accessible on Disney+, and Spider-Man: Homecoming will join the lineup on May 12. Starting on May 12, Tom Hardy’s Venom will also be accessible on Disney+. Sony Pictures still owns the rights to certain of the films in the Spider-Man and Venom repertoire, including Spider-Man: Far from Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and the Spider-Man spin-off Morbius.

In 2021, Disney and Sony came to a new licencing arrangement, which probably made it possible for the Spider-Man films to be added on Disney+. Despite this, the agreement’s specifics are unclear. The release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on June 2, 2023, the theatrical debut of Kraven the Hunter on October 23, and the possibility of a September 2023 release for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for the PlayStation 5, according to Venom voice actor Tony Todd, are all exciting developments for fans of the web-slinging superhero.
