There’s some positive news regarding the forthcoming movie Thunderbolts. With the new Marvel film now in development, Thunderbolts has officially resumed its journey after several delays in its release date. In an interview to promote Dune: Part Two, Florence Pugh, one of the film’s actresses, revealed the exciting new development on the project. She revealed that she “just started” filming Thunderbolts, indicating that the Marvel picture has resumed production following several setbacks and casting alterations. In reference to Thunderbolts, Pugh remarked, “I feel so – I mean – honoured that I’ve been able to basically do the most bizarre press tour for both movies Dune: Part Two and Oppenheimer at the same time and I’ve just started my next movie.” However, I was able to fit this one in, and I’m thankful that I was able to balance them all at once.
Given that Thunderbolts will be out sooner than anticipated, the project seemed to be moving along nicely. Prior to being pushed ahead to May 2, 2025, it was scheduled for release in July 2025. Prior to experiencing more release date adjustments, December 2024 was the original planned delivery date. After Deadpool & Wolverine came out in July 2024 and Captain America: Brave New World came out in February 2025, the film is the last part of the MCU’s Phase Five. In Thunderbolts, Florence Pugh plays Yelena Belova, the Black Widow again. Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Ola Kurylenko as Taskmaster, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine are among the other prominent members of the ensemble cast. Additionally, it has been claimed that Lewis Pullman is interested in playing Sentry, replacing Steven Yeun in the role. In an unidentified position, Geraldine Viswanathan has also taken Ayo Edebiri’s place. I’ve always wanted to interact with the world in some manner, and this opportunity has suddenly presented itself. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes? A great deal of… In a recent interview, Viswanathan described her casting as “destiny.” “I replied, ‘I’ll be there,’ when Destiny called and I answered.” really enthusiastic.”
