Frank Miller returns to Daredevil: A legendary artist’s impact on the man without fear

Fans are thrilled that Frank Miller will be working on Daredevil again. Miller’s signature style is on display on the cover that Marvel has announced for the next Daredevil comic revival. Daredevil is prominently featured on the cover, his intimidating presence standing out against the dark background. This comes after Miller’s earlier work on the covers for Blade and The Thing, which also have a striking look in common. Miller’s contribution to the character’s mythos was cemented by his creative partnership with Klaus Janson on Daredevil: Born Again, the source material for Marvel Studios’ future television series. Notably, Miller and Janson expanded the Daredevil world by introducing iconic characters like Elektra and Stick.

Miller’s art is highly regarded by Daredevil series fans, including actor Charlie Cox. Cox praised the work of Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark and said that the tone established by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev’s run is particularly difficult to top. Cox also praised the impact of the song “Guardian Devil,” which was written by Joe Quesada, a person with strong links to the programme. But one cannot ignore the significance of Miller’s “Born Again,” a plot that Cox calls “so special.” The forthcoming television series and the comic book series, Daredevil: Born Again, are both anticipated to premiere in the spring of 2024.
