Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, is enlisted but not totally committed. But according to CanWeGetSomeToast, the Merc with a Mouth remains the movie’s main emphasis. The Time Variance Authority saw his activities with Cable’s time machine and put him into custody. The TVA’s ambition to create a multiversal army inspires Deadpool to flee and persuade Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine to go with him.
