A bold solo movie fan poster imagines Scarlet Witch returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe more than a year after her on-screen demise. The MCU has given Wanda Maximoff, better known as the Scarlet Witch, a turbulent character arc. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, she first appeared as a supporting foe to the Avengers before joining them and eventually taking her own life after becoming corrupted by the Darkhold. That hasn’t stopped people from speculating about Scarlet Witch’s potential next appearance in the MCU, though. Artist skaiwitch has shared their interpretation of Wanda’s potential solo movie return to the MCU in the event that she discovers a means to return from the dead on Instagram. Naturally, the poster doesn’t reveal too much about possible antagonists or plot points, but it does give Wanda a striking makeover to symbolize her transformation. The elaborate Scarlet Witch costume and magical headgear are no longer worn. Wanda’s new suggested MCU attire appears to consist of plain cloth robes and runic markings all over her face. Scarlet Witch will probably make her MCU comeback by first appearing in another film or television series before starring in her own. Wanda could plausibly appear in the unconfirmed Doctor Strange 3 given her close ties to the occult and the fact that she passed away in a Doctor Strange film. Vision Quest, the WandaVision pseudo-sequel, might be an unusual choice for Scarlet Witch to make a comeback on the small screen. Even though magic isn’t likely to be a theme of the show, Vision’s lengthy association with Wanda Maximoff would make an appearance appropriate. It also makes sense for Avengers 5 or 6 if Scarlet Witch makes a comeback as a variant.
