Marvel fans should note August 2 on their calendars because Disney+ will finally provide the highly anticipated third chapter of James Gunn’s “Guardians” trilogy. All Disney+ customers will have access to “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” after its May 5 theatrical release, allowing fans to continue following Peter Quill and his eclectic group of friends on their intergalactic journeys. In keeping with Disney’s current pattern of extended wait times for movies to reach the streaming platform, this streaming release occurs three months after the movie’s initial release in theatres.
The film’s stellar ensemble includes Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaa, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, and Pom Klementieff in characters they had played in other films. Additionally, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova join the cast as well as Vin Diesel, who provides the voice of the endearing Groot. Bradley Cooper, who previously provided the voice of Rocket, also returns. The story revolves around Peter Quill sending his crew on a rescue mission for Rocket, promising yet another hilarious and action-packed adventure that fans have grown to adore.
With “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” streaming, Marvel enthusiasts can indulge in a full-fledged “Guardians” binge on Disney+. Both previous volumes, “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” will be available alongside the latest installment. This allows fans to immerse themselves in the cosmic world crafted by James Gunn and enjoy the camaraderie, epic battles, and memorable soundtrack that have made the franchise a beloved part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As the wait for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” draws to a close, Marvel fans can look forward to the upcoming release of “The Marvels,” featuring Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambuea, hitting theaters on November 10.
