In the next film Deadpool & Wolverine, Hugh Jackman and Dafne Keen, who starred in Logan, will reconnect as their respective characters. On the red carpet for the movie’s premiere, the two had another out-of-character reunion away from the big screen. A new clip from the Deadpool and Wolverine premiere was posted on the Logan official X page. In the short film, Jackman and Keen are shown greeting and holding hands while countless pictures are taken. Next, both Jackman and Keen have broad smiles on their faces as they pose for photos. The message comes after a picture of the two together that was previously shared on social media. You may view both postings below.

Regarding Keen’s special cameo as X-23 in Deadpool & Wolverine, executive producer Wendy Jacobson previously told Inverse, “Dafne coming in gives the film a real emotional poignancy and resonance.” To be honest, the one thing that the filmmakers found very amazing was witnessing Dafne and Hugh’s first meeting before to the start of filming. They hadn’t seen one other in a number of years, I’m quite sure. It was rather lovely to see them get back in touch because she was only a child when they shot that movie and is now an adult.”

“Oh, that was very amazing. Really, I was afraid it wouldn’t function anymore,” Keen said to Deadline while posing for pictures on the red carpet. “And then it seemed like no time had gone when we saw each other. It was just lovely. And what a kind, compassionate man he is. It’s also rather simple to perform alongside someone as great as Hugh because of his extraordinary skill as an actor. With him by you, it’s hard to feel horrible.” In the 2017 feature film Logan, Keen made her screen debut as X-23, the daughter of Hugh Jackman’s Logan. It was thought that Logan would never be seen on the big screen again because of his ending in the movie. Following the news that Jackman will be playing Wolverine again for a new crossover movie starring Ryan Reynolds, there were suspicions circulating that Keen might play X-23. In interviews, Keen would refute this, but it wasn’t until the official trailer that she was included in the film.
