With the help of a recently revealed poster, the next Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe has officially entered the quantum world.
The Marvel Entertainment Twitter account’s official account provided the poster. It draws attention to the Quantum Realm setting of the third Ant-Man film, which serves as a spectacular background for its main ensemble of heroes and antagonists. These figures include Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne/Wasp, Kathryn Newton’s Cassie Lang, Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer’s Janet van Dyne, and Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors). The tagline for the sequel, which encourages MCU viewers to “Witness the dawn of a new dynasty” when the movie debuts in February 2023, is also included on the new Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania poster.
The latest Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania full-length trailer was released just before the poster was released. In sharp contrast to Kang’s little appearance in past previews, this new promotional clip gives the supervillain a significant amount of screen time. It particularly underlines Kang’s control on Scott Lang in the future sequel, as the time-traveling villain tempts Lang with the possibility of making up the five years he lost during Avengers: Infinity War. The last seconds of the teaser, when Kang lets free with blinding bursts of energy, highlight the character’s incredible power levels.
