Set images for Daredevil: Born Again, the new Disney+ series, have surfaced. The images feature the trio of Netflix’s Daredevil, Matt Murdock, Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, and Karen Page. Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Elden Henson, who plays Foggy Nelson, and Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Karen Page, were reportedly sighted filming scenes for the new show with Wilson Bethel, who is playing Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye, the character from the Netflix series. The characters will formally join Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Daredevil: Born Again. Cox has appeared in MCU films including She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Echo; D’Onofrio makes appearances in Hawkeye and Echo as well.

Since Marvel Studios ultimately accepted the Netflix Marvel series as canonical parts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, industry insiders had been speculating about Henson and Woll’s comeback as part of the new creative direction for Daredevil: Born Again. With the conclusion of the third and final season of the original Daredevil series, in which Foggy persuaded Matt and Karen to resume their collaboration, Marvel fans last saw Henson, Woll, and Bethel more than five years ago. Prior to the formal announcement of the cast, Woll had talked about her absence from Daredevil: Born Again, calling her part as Karen Page “one of the great roles of her career so far.” “I think any version of Karen that returns, whether it’s me, whether it’s not me, whether it’s in comic books, whether it’s in 50 years, whatever it is, I just hope that it continues to honour her,” she went on. that you never play the supporting role.” In addition to talking about how Marvel will incorporate Netflix’s Defenders series into the MCU’s narrative, D’Onofrio made a hint about Wilson Fisk’s impending character journey in Daredevil: Born Again. “During our restart of all the creative on Daredevil: Born Again, all the creatives got together and said, ‘Look, this is how we’ve got to do it now,'” he explained. “It’s fantastic that we are solely discussing it in terms of how closely it relates to the original Daredevil. Along with all the side tales from the first three seasons, it brings in a tonne of interesting stuff, D’Onofrio continued.
