Hugh Jackman will make his enigmatic comeback as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, and he has been preparing hard for the part. Disney gave fans access to official merchandise that revealed his impending costume and mask at the same time. Hugh Jackman posted a video of himself exercising on Instagram on Saturday in order to get ready for the part. The weightlifting actor captioned the photo, saying, “No days off – except for tomorrow.” He used the hashtag “#becomingwolverineagain” in the description to remind everyone of this.
The film Deadpool 3 has been in production for a number of years, and Ryan Reynolds, who plays the main role, has been outspoken in his attempts to bring the Merc with a Mouth back to the big screen. It was also him that persuaded Jackman to come back for the movie. After 2017’s Logan, the actor gave up on the character, but he will reprise Wolverine in the much awaited follow-up. The sole MCU movie scheduled for 2024 is Deadpool 3, and fans have been anticipating the follow-up since 2018. In addition, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will make a reappearance in the much awaited movie. Fans are eager to see how the character will fare after appearing to have died in 2017’s Logan. Hugh Jackman’s much-anticipated return to the cherished role appears to be culminating in him donning a more conventional yellow Wolverine outfit—a style that is more appropriate for the X-Men character. Additionally, Disney and the Marvel Cinematic Universe made the decision to offer fans a sneak peek at his mask on promotional merchandise that features both Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’s Deadpool in full outfits.
The merchandise validates Wolverine’s appearance, based on an image uploaded to X by user @Nico_Crux. In Shawn Levy’s upcoming Deadpool 3, Wolverine dons his iconic yellow outfit for the first time. This will make Wolverine more true to the comic book than he was before, especially because it will be his first time wearing a mask on film.
Deadpool 3’s first teaser is supposedly going to drop on February 11. Marvel may then keep releasing official teasers for the film until July 26, when it opens in theatres following many postponements due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes. Along with Reynolds and Jackman, other returning actors include Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al and Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Wade Wilson’s lover.
