Miguel O’Hara, Spider-Man 2099, is attempting to save his mother from a zombie outbreak in a recent comic book series. Artist Devmalya Pramanik collaborates with writer Steve Orlando on the first issue of the upcoming five-issue limited series. Miguel O’Hara appears in Spider-Man 2099, when he teams up with Blade from the 2099 realm to defeat the Marvel Zombie of 2099 that is endangering Nueva York. Miguel is alienated from his mother at the start of the issue, but he hopes to win her back after she finds out about his Spider-Man persona.
Soon after, Miguel receives a call for assistance from his mother, who looks to have contracted the zombie sickness after being bitten. As the infection grows, her despair soon gives way to wrath, and she strikes out, trying to hurt him. Spider-Man 2099 must avoid getting bitten while attempting to stop the sickness from spreading throughout the city since his mother’s life is in jeopardy. Sales of Miguel O’Hara’s Spider-Man 2099 begin on January 3. Together with a number of well-known artists, Steve Orlando returns to the Marvel 2099 universe in the new Miguel O’Hara – Spider-Man 2099 series, which pits Miguel O’Hara against 2099 incarnations of the company’s iconic horror icons. The remaining issues in the series include legendary horror villains like Dracula, Terror, and even 2099’s Man-Thing, in addition to the Marvel Zombie from the first issue. Throughout January, Wednesdays will see the release of new issues in the series. Stefano Raffaele, Jason Muhr, Chris Campana, Devmalya Pramanik, and Michael Dowling are among the musicians that will be performing in Orlando for the series. March will see the release of other comics set in the 2099 world, including Symbiote Spider-Man 2099, a limited series by Spider-Man 2099 co-creator Peter David.
