James Gunn reveals why certain songs didn’t make the cut for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ soundtrack

The most recent film in the series, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” follows the beloved space crew on their final journey together. James Gunn, who is renowned for creating fantastic soundtracks. He just disclosed on Twitter that all but one of the tracks he requested for the film were provided. Gunn has already explained his reasons for not using tracks like “Dancing in the Moonlight” by King Harvest. He clarified that even if the movie has a character named Rocket Raccoon, the Beatles’ “Rocky Raccoon” doesn’t fit the mood of the picture. Gunn was asked by fans which Beatles song was his favorite, and he responded, “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.”

The soundtrack has received criticism from Chris Pratt, who plays the role of Peter Quill/Star-Lord in the film. He appreciates Gunn’s talent for selecting musical selections that fit the mood of the film and for discovering undiscovered jewels that can be enhanced and showcased. He praised Gunn’s work and noted how the songs in the film are powerful. Fans can now watch “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3” in theatres and take in the final mission of their favorite space team while listening to a fantastic soundtrack.
