Jennifer Garner, who played the lead role in Elektra, recently addressed speculation that she may make a cameo in the eagerly awaited Deadpool 3. While promoting her new Netflix movie Family Switch, Garner was asked about the possibility of seeing her in the MCU movie that comes out the following year. The actor replied in a sly manner, saying, “I have no idea what you’re talking about. What would you be trying to say?” When asked whether she was aware of any “hypothetical” roles in Deadpool 3, she said, “Not that I’m aware of.” Garner may not have all of her cards on the table and may return as Elektra Natchios in Deadpool 3, according to recent rumours and her lighthearted interview style. Daredevil (2003) had Garner in the lead role opposite Ben Affleck. Two years later, she would return to the character in a standalone spinoff.
Deadpool 3 is now in development and scheduled for release in 2024. As more stars are said to have joined the multiverse-spanning film, the speculation will only intensify. Ryan Reynolds, the film’s protagonist and producer, recently addressed rumours that singer Taylor Swift will play the mutant Dazzler. Due to Reynolds’s and his character’s fame, Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy has all but confirmed that fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe could anticipate seeing several cameo appearances in the movie. “What blew my mind is how easy some of those cameos have been,” Levy said.
