A fresh Loki Season 2 teaser has been released by Marvel Studios. This new teaser, which follows the official trailer that was published in July, gives Marvel fans another look at the time-bending narrative of the forthcoming season, which sees Tom Hiddleston’s Loki being flung between the past, present, and future. The Loki Season 2 teaser releases a few fresh images that highlight the show’s polished cinematography. The preview not only shows off Hiddleston but also more of Ke Huy Quan’s O.B., Sophie Di Martino’s Sylvie, Owen Wilson’s Agent Mobius, and Jonathan Majors’ Victor Timely, a Kang variation. As stated in the official description from Disney, “Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority.” The synopsis continues, “Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters.”

McDonald’s has received a lot of attention in the Loki Season 2 advertising materials, and Sylvie is seen working there in the 1980s. After the tragic events of the first season, executive producer Kevin Wright said that Sylvie becoming a McDonald’s employee was a step in the right direction for her character. “The novelty of walking into a 1980s McDonald’s looked appealing when we stayed in the view of the character, this woman who had gone on the run as a child, had been running through time, a fugitive of time, living in apocalypses, and had never been able to relax or slow down,” Wright said.

You play a Little League game and go to McDonald’s, he continued. You visit McDonald’s for a child’s birthday celebration. A someone like Sylvie, who has never experienced it, would be quite moved by it. It appears that McDonald’s will be introducing its own unique sauce as part of its cooperation with Loki Season 2. A McDonald’s location in Brooklyn, New York, likewise had an 80s makeover from August 30 to September 1. Loki Seasons 1 and 2 have received high praise from Mobius actor Owen Wilson. “I’ve had the good fortune to work on a million films and always have a good time, but that one was especially fun, and that carried over into Season 2,” the actor said. Season 2 would reveal more about his character, he continued, “maybe even moreso because we were filming in London and being there at Pinewood, but yeah, his story just goes deeper.”
